A Night With Miss Knight

  • Queen Street Playhouse 20 Queen Street Charleston, SC, 29401 United States (map)

We’re kicking off the second season of our wildly popular Sunday Night Speakeasy series with a night of show-stopping Broadway excitement courtesy of Footlight Players mainstay and two time Best of Charleston Best Actress winner Madelyn Knight.

Charleston native Madelyn Knight has been a rising star on the Charleston theatre scene for many years, creating a large following for her incredible vocal skills and versatility. She has wowed audiences with memorable musical performances in Footlight Players’ A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Head Over Heels and most recently surprised audiences with a terrifying turn as Annie Wilkes in last season’s Misery.

Join Madelyn for a cozy night of nostalgia, accompanied on piano by Anne Warf, as she looks back at some of her most cherished songs from her time at Footlight Players and other theatre adventures in Charleston. From songs she’s performed in the past to those she’s long been dying to sing, it will be an evening to remember with one of Charleston’s most gifted and celebrated musical theatre artists.
