Host your own private movie night at the QSP with our new MOVIE NIGHT rental program!

Did you know that the Queen Street Playhouse is more than just a performing arts theatre venue? In fact our theatre has a cinema grade projector and a drop down full size movie screen! If you’ve seen our annual production of
The Rocky Horror Experience you know what a blast it is to sit inside of Charleston’s most iconic and historical buildings and watch a movie on the big screen!

Now you can craft your very own private movie-going experience with up to 50 of your friends and family by renting out the Queen Street Playhouse and screening the movie of your choice (see rules below left) in our beautiful and historic theatre space.

We offer a full bar in our theatre lobby that can be open for purchase upon your request as well as delicious and fresh popcorn from our movie house-style popcorn machine.

Rental fee: $500
* includes private use of the lobby and theatre space for up to 50 guests and the streaming of one movie of your choice on the big screen.
