Tonya Nicole, is a beautiful breath of fresh air on stage. This small statured, powerhouse vocalist, who's originally from the tiny town of Holly Hill, SC, has been making her Lowcountry rounds and leaving audiences feeling more than satisfied for many years now. She's a true performer with an aura of old-school class and style. The City Paper describes her voice best, she is "blessed with a deep, willowy voice capable of improv-inflected runs... her vocals gives her music a powerful immediacy”.

Tonya, along with her 2 piece band, will bring her themed show Love, Life, and Loss to Queen Street’s Speakeasy Oct 22nd for a single engagement at 7:30pm. This show celebrates love, life and the heartbreak of loss, with songs from jazz and Neo-soul artists such as Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Esperanza Spalding, Jill Scott, and many more. A must see for any jazz and R & B fan!
